Does Rove work with every game?
No. It is designed for smaller traditional save sets, especially RPGs and single-player titles. The save location and the game’s file behavior still matter.
Does it replace platform cloud saving?
No. If Steam Cloud or another native cloud service works reliably for a game, keep using it. Rove is for gaps.
Is there a Rove account?
No. There is no Rove-hosted server or account required. Google Drive sign-in is optional and happens directly from the desktop app.
Does it have zero performance impact?
We do not claim that. Rove is designed for low background impact, but results depend on save size, disk, antivirus, and the game.
Can I pause it?
Yes. The app supports global and per-game pause controls, including Windows tray controls.
